Our next FREE Monthly Vibe Tribe Call is all about emotional eating + how to overcome it. This is a hot button topic for me, because I’ve struggled with it my entire life. I’ve been overweight since I was a kid (sometimes referred to by those little medical charts as “obese”) and so this topic is very tender and raw for me, which is partly why I’ve asked Lacy to come join us today. I am a HUGE believer that the food we eat is critical to our well-being, both physically + emotionally, energetically + spiritually. I KNOW we’re going to really “dig in” and talk frankly about food, loving yourself, and the 10 ways to overcome emotional eating so you can create more joy in your life.

ABOUT LACY (in her own words):
I was the kid growing up that you wanted to trade lunches with! Wonder Bread with ham and cheese loaf, a Little Debbie snack cake, a Dr Pepper and if I was being healthy that day… a Fruit Roll-Up! When I left for college and had to feed myself my menu was limited to basically four items: 1. Cake made from a box, 2. Scrambled eggs with cheese, 3. Grilled chicken which I called chicken surprise. The surprise part was the spice I’d add: Mexican chicken meant I added chili powder, Chinese chicken meant it was swimming in soy sauce. And of course the largest food group of all… 4. Anything sugar filled and processed. Recovering sugar addict, right here! I didn’t know that your stomach was not supposed to hurt after eating a meal. I thought that was digestion! My journey to health started as many do through profound sickness. You can read more about it here. As my body and spirit healed I started to listen to my body wisdom and slowly learn what foods felt life giving and what foods made me feel slow + run down.
