Shame derives its power from being unspeakable. That's why it loves perfectionists -- it's so easy to keep us quiet. If we cultivate enough awareness about shame to name it and to speak it, we've basically cut it off at the knees. Shame hates having words wrapped around it. If we speak shame, it begins to wither. Just the way exposure to light was deadly for the gremlins, language and story bring light to shame and destroy it. --Brene Brown I don't know about you, but I've come a long way to …

Women Inspiring Change
I am proud and honored to share that on Wednesday, October 1st, I am the Arthritis Foundation's WOMEN INSPIRING CHANGE Benefit Luncheon Emcee. I would love to have you cheering me on at the Concourse as I emcee this important fundraising and awareness event for women. Above all, every single participant left …

It was mainly the spiritual part that attracted me to this new coaching program my coach told me about last year. I knew there was a creative piece to it but I pretended that wouldn’t be a big part of it and I didn’t want it to influence me not to do it. My coach is an artist. And I had it in my mind that I was a business woman with a …
